Blackberry 10 operating system based smartphone models
There have been a lot of rumours surrounding the Blackberry 10 operating system that will be officially announced by the month of August. Now as per the sources, two series are getting ready with Blackberry 10 operating system.
They are Blackberry L-Series and Blackberry N-Series. Blackberry L-series will be a touch based smartphone where as Blackberry N-series will be a QWERTY smartphone. Though not all specifications have been unveiled, initial reports suggest that they will have strong display features and user friendly apps.
Blackberry L-series specifications would include a screen display resolution of 768 x 1200 pixels. The device will also feature a screen width of 55mm. The L-series Blackberry all touch smartphone will sport a Pixels per inch specification of 356 PPI. It is expected that the Blackberry 10 L-series smartphone will feature a better retina display compared to that of iPhone 4 and iPhone 4S.
Blackberry N-series is a QWERTY based smartphone that will make use of Blackberry 10 operating system. This device will make use of physical QWERTY keyboard. The device was previously code named Blackberry Nevada. This smartphone is expected to make use of OLED screen technology. The later releases are expected to make use of LCD display.
Some of the known specifications of Blackberry N-series include making use of a screen size width specification of 52 to 53mm. The Pixels per Inch specification that the device will feature include 330 PPI. Blackberry N-Series QWERTY smartphone will feature a screen display resolution of 720 x 720 pixels.
As per the sources, users can expect Blackberry L-series to be released officially in to the international market by the month of September. Blackberry N-series is still under development and is said to be set for a release only by the first quarter of 2013. Let us hope that both these devices will help Blackberry to regain its lost momentum in the mobile handset market.
There has been no information regarding the pricing of both the Blackberry L-series and Blackberry N-series as per the official sources. It is expected that both of the devices will mark a new beginning for RIM by making use of their latest advanced Blackberry 10 operating system.
