BlackBerry X10 Images Leak Revealing QWERTY Keypad
The details of the much awaited Research in Motion's BlackBery Z10 have been leaked. The specifications of the phone were made available by Phonearena. The reports show that the phone comes with a 1.5 GHz TI OMAP 4470 processor.
The 3G phone also comes with a 4.2-inch touch screen, 2 GB RAM, 16 GB internal storage, a swappable micro SD slot. The swappable micro SD slot allows the user to take the SD card out without switching off the phone.
When it comes to connectivity, the phone is equipped with Wi-Fi and GPS along with A-GPS. The phone also has an 8 mega-pixel camera with auto focus and a 2 megapixel front facing camera. It also has an 1800mAh removable battery.
The images of BlackBerry X10 were also leaked along with Z10 and the primary images of the phone show it has a QWERTY keyboard. The phone is likely to get touch plus QWERTY design and does not feature any navigation keys.
The phone is something similar to the current Bold Series smartphones of RIM apart from the keys which are lined up straight rows. Exact details of the phone are not available at the moment.
RIM is facing a severe set-back in its sales and subscriber-base and the company is expected to launch both the phones on January 30th, 2013. The launch will also see the unveiling of Blackberry 10 operating systems and both the phones are reportedly running on the new OS.
The OS comes with more than 75,000 applications in its app store. There is also more good news for the users; RIM is planning to reduce the cost of subscription charges making a few categories free.
