Troubled handset maker BlackBerry has repeatedly confirmed the company's intent to launch a high-end BB 10 OS running handset later this year. For months, the Internet has been swarmed with various rumors and leaks around the coming of BlackBerry Z30 (Windermere), but no evidence confirmed these conjectures until now.
BlackBerry Z30, codenamed Windermere, will going to be a power-packed handset expected to debut sometime later this year. The Q30 is said to be designed by BlackBerry, but will be manufactured by Foxconn.
Infact, BlackBerry had earlier confirmed that it would be launching a BlackBerry 10 smartphone with a 4.5-inch display of 1440×1440 resolution, and the leak suggests the Q30 could be the one.
Earlier today, the device in question has been leaked ahead of its dream debut. New alleged images of BlackBerry Z30 have made their way online.
Going by the images, the Q30 is said to feature the same stainless steel bezel found on the Q10. Reportedly, it will have a special physical QWERTY keyboard -- with an ability to delete words by swiping over the keys.
While we know very little about the exact details of the smartphone, the new BlackBerry is said to compete with the likes of HTC One M8 and Samsung Galaxy S5, when it comes to leaked specs sheet swirling on the web.
The BlackBerry Q30 will sport a 4.5-inch display with a resolution of 1440 x 1440 pixels resolution. It is also said to feature a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor with 3GB of RAM. There will be a 13-megapixel rear-facing camera and a non-removable 3,450mAh battery fitted inside.
BlackBerry is dying off slowly. It's hard to believe that the company which revolutionized modern day smartphones is on the verge of collapse. Stay tuned to GizBot for more updates!
