However, hopes are still up, and the company has just introduced the brand new BlackBerry Z3 handset that is now looking to make an entry into the market with a lot of hope pinned on the device to do good before the end of the year.

BlackBerry shot to fame a long long time ago when a BB device spelled class and heavy pocket. It became a sort of statement for all those owning one in those times. However, times change. And so has the smartphone market with the arrival of Android and iOS.

But with smartphones coming thick and fast these days, BlackBerry also realizes that it still has a perfectly good BlackBerry Z10 handset that's also in the market. In fact, the device will face some in-house competition with the Z3 now released.

The BlackBerry Z10, on the other hand, sports a greater 8-megapixel primary camera, sporting a pixel resolution of 3264 x 2448 pixels, with autofocus and LED flash. The device also has a secondary 2-megapixel front-facing snapper.

While the BlackBerry Z3 sports a 1.2GHz dual core Krait 200 processor, the BlackBerry Z10 comes with a 1.5 GHz dual core processor.

There are quite a few areas where the difference between both the devices show. While the Z10 has the advantage of a greater RAM, SD support and more internal memory, the BlackBerry Z3 comes with the latest BB OS and a greater battery. And if a verdict has to be struck out, we are guessing that the Z3 will attarct more users than the Z10 just riding on the "latest OS" factor.
