BlackBerry Z3, Z30 Reportedly Receive Price Cuts in India

BlackBerry has slashed prices of the BlackBerry Z3 and BlackBerry Z30 full touch smartphones in India, according to local media reports. BlackBerry, which has lost ground to market leaders such as Apple and Samsung in the Indian handset market over the years, is clearly looking to get befitted with reduced prices of the BlackBerry Z3 and the Z30. Both devices were launched last year and priced insanely high considering the competition.

According to a report published in NDTV Gadgets, the BlackBerry Z3 will be available at a price of Rs. 13,990, down from Rs. 15,990. The BlackBerry Z30, on the other hand, which was previously priced at Rs. 29,990, is now available for Rs. 24,990.

BlackBerry Z3 - Highlighted Specifications

In terms of specs, the BlackBerry Z3 features a 5-inch touch screen display offering a qHD resolution of 960 × 540 pixels. It runs on the latest version of BlackBerry OS 10 and it is powered by a 1.2 GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon (MSM8230) processor and Adreno 305 GPU coupled with 1.5 GB RAM.

Although the device is not much of a camera oriented, it does offer an average 5MP auto focus rear camera with LED flash and a front facing 1.1MP camera. The BlackBerry Z3 also comes with a LED Indicator and you will find an 8GB internal memory, expandable memory up to 32GB with microSD. The handset draws its energy from a 2500 mAh non-removable battery.

BlackBerry Z30 - Highlighted Specifications

The BlackBerry Z30 has a 5-inch Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels and is powered by a 1.7 GHz dual-core processor by Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro chipset with Adreno 32- quad-core graphics coupled with 2GB of RAM. It has 16GB of native memory, which can be further expanded up to 64GB via a microSD card slot.

There's an 8-megapixel camera with Auto Focus, LED Flash, 5x digital zoom and ability to record video in Full HD format. Also add a 2-mega pixel front facing camera with 3x digital zoom and 720p HD video recording facility. The phone comes with a 2,880mAh non-removable battery inside.
