BSNL PentaSmart PS501, PS650 And PF300 Smartphones Along With Penta T-Pad WS707C Officially Launched

BSNL in partnership with Pantel Technologies today launched next-gen 5 inch and 6.5 smartphones in the Indian market called PS501 and PS650. Moreover, the company also launched its low end handset called PentaBharat Phone and the 7 inch PentaT-Pad WS707C Tablet PC as well. However all these device come with an average specs and are quite affordable. Take a look at the specs of these devices below individually:

BSNL PentaSmart PS501, PS650, PF300 And T-Pad WS707C Launched In India

PentaBharat Phone PF300

The PentaBharat Phone comes with a 3 inch large screen display with a dual SIM support. It is priced liberally at Rs. 1,799 with 1,200 minutes of BSNL talk-time bundled free.

Going by the specs the PentaBharat Phone PF300 is a JAVA enabled feature phone. It allows internet browsing facilities including Email, Facebook, downloading of music and videos, and Java games. Moreover, it is also loaded with 1.3 Mega Pixel rear Camera, Bluetooth and is powered by a 1800 mAh Lithium-Ion battery that delivers upto 8 hrs of talk time and 15 days standby time. There is a 64MB RAM and 64MB of internal storage, SMS Scheduler. This super-slim PentaBharat Phone also supports Auto Voice Call Recording.

Penta Smart PS650

The Penta Smart PS650 is another device that comes at Rs. 7,999. It features 6.5 inch display with unknown resolution. However it is a 3G device based on the latest ultra-slim OGS design. It is powered by a 1.2GHz A7 Dual-Core CPU with the MALI 400MP GPU and 512MB of RAM and 4GB of internal storage. The device runs on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean OS. The device is powered by a 2500 mAh battery supporting 100 hrs standby time.

Furthermore, it comes with voice and data connectivity with 3G Micro SIM Slot. Other connectivity options include 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS. It features Gesture Typing, Speech to text, Quick navigation screen, Voice based Search and Google NOW as well. The huge phablet comes with a 2MP panoramic rear camera with HDR Recording, Image Stabilizer, Auto Focus and Image Sensor.

The device is bundled with a free 3GB of BSNL 3G data and 300 mins of talk-time.

PentaSmart PS501

PentaSmart PS501 Smartphone is priced at Rs. 6,999 and the company has pre-bundled the device with a free 3GB of BSNL data and 300mins of talk-time.

Going by the specs, the device comes with a 5 inch IPS display and features a personalized music player endowed with 3D Photo Viewing, 3D Video Playback, Supports "Cool 3D" technology, Smooth and powerful 3D experience. The Penta Smart PS501 comes with 15GB Cloud storage and pre-loaded Anti-Virus protection. Powering the device is 1.2GHz A7 Dual-Core CPU which is also coupled with 512MB DDR3 RAM and 4GB of internal storage. The device comes with a 5MP rear camera and a VGA front camera for video conferencing. GPS, Bluetooth, Hot-Spot, Gesture Motion texting features.

PentaT-Pad WS707C Tablet PC

The 7 inch affordable tablet comes at the price of Rs. 6,999 and the company is also offering free 3GB of BSNL data and 300 mins of talk-time along with the device.

The device is powered by a Dual-Core CPU with an independent graphics controller. All the latest applications like Spuul, Flipboard, Facebook, Skype, Daydream, Documents-to-Go, Aldiko e-book reader, etc. come loaded in the device. The powerful GPU of the Penta T-Pad WS707C enables the user to enjoy full 3D experience enabled by the 3D Display screen. The device runs on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean OS version with 512 MB RAM and 4GB Internal Storage. The company has not disclosed the resolution of most of the devices and also the battery and the CPU clock of this tablet has not been mentioned.

The company through the press release also said that HomeShop18 was the launch retail partner for PS650 and the WS707C range of Penta Smart devices. According to the company, the devices will start retailing on the HomeShop18 TV Channel from next week.
