As the tech world seems to be chanting the word phablet since the debut of this year, it can be said that the large screen handsets have undergone many noteworthy transitions.

Byond Tech, a Pune based tech firm popular for its tablet launches in the Mi-Book series has now launched a phablet - Phablet PI at Rs 10,999. Already, the manufacturer has a few phablet offerings in India in the budget price range.

Byond Phablet PI - Specs

Byond Phablet P1 adheres to the specifications of those budget phablets that are available in India and hence, it comes with a 5.3 inch qHD IPS capacitive touchscreen display with a resolution of 960 x 540 pixels, 1GHz dual core processor, dual SIM support, Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean OS, 8MP rear camera with LED flash, 1.3MP front camera, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, 1GB RAM, 4GB internal storage, micro SD card supporting up to 32GB additional storage and a 2,000 mAh battery.

Byond Phablet PI - Price & Availability

The Byond Phablet PI is priced at Rs 10,999 and is available in two color options including White and Navy Blue. Also, the company offers a free Flip Cover and Screen Guard along with the every purchase.

Byond Phablet PI vs Phablet PII

In February, Byond Tech launched Phablet PII at Rs 14,999 with a 5.7-inch multi-touch HD IPS with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels, Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean operating system, 1GHz dual-core processor, 8MP rear camera, VGA front camera, 4GB internal storage, microSD slot expandable up to 32GB, 1GB RAM, Wi-Fi, 3G, GPS, Bluetooth and a 2,500 mAh battery of undisclosed backup.

Analyzing the specifications, it clear that Phablet PI not only comes with a significantly lesser price tag, but also features a better front camera.
