Celkon A119Q Signature HD: Will the 5 inch Quad Core Handset Outshine Micromax Canvas HD?
It's been said time and again that low-cost smartphones with high-end specifications are the key in the Indian markets. Native handset manufacturers seem to be religiously following this strategy. Ever since Micromax released it's A116 Canvas HD, there has been a frenzy in this category, as various companies are trying to match the smatphone, with their own offerings.
It looks like Celkon also want's a piece of the cake, as it has launched a new handset A119Q Signature HD, which is the successor of the A119 Signature HD, that was launched back in March. The spec list sure does look impressive, as the smartphone, runs on Android 4.2.1 Jelly Bean and comes packing a 5 inch 1280 x 720 pixels display, 1.2 GHz quad-coreMediaTek MT6589 processor, PowerVR SGX 544MP2 GPU, 12MP auto focus camera with LED Flash, 3MP front-facing camera 1GB RAM, 4GB internal memory, expandable memory up to 32 GB and 2100 mAh battery.
As for the connectivity features, the A119Q Signature HD supports 3G, WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS and also comes with Dual-SIM capability. The best part about the phone is, it is priced at Rs. 12,499 and also comes with a free flip cover worth Rs. 1,500.

Canvas HD houses a 5 inch HD IPS capacitive touchscreen display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels, 1.2GHz quad core MediaTek MT6589 processor, Android 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system, 8MP rear camera, VGA front camera for video calling, 4GB internal storage, 1GB RAM, micro SD card slot supporting up to 32GB additional storage, 3G, WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS/A-GPS and a 2,100 mAh battery. Canvas HD is priced at Rs 14,490.
