Celkon A9 Dual with Android Jelly Bean Listed via Official Website, Pricing unavailable
The Indian domestic smartphone market, as of now, is teeming with a boatload of devices that range from internationally famed manufacturers such as Apple and Samsung to the ones that are cropping up within the country - such as Micromax and Karbonn.
And while the race to the top of the pile gets serious, there's always room for one more to join in the race and offer some (if not absolute) resistance to the ones perfectly poised to see the zenith in a few months time for the current financial quarter.
However, it seems like there's one more entry waiting to happen officially, and this time the concerned smartphone comes from Celkon - which was in news the last month when it officially unveiled its Celkon S1 with a 5-inch full-HD display and Android 4.2, launched at Rs. 14,999.
But that was last month. This month, the company has already listed a brand new device known as Celkon A9 Dual - and although the company is yet to reveal a solid price tag for the device, it has already revealed a bit about the in-device features and specifications.

As far as in-device specs are concerned, it seems like the Celkon A9 Dual, where Dual stands for the fact that it will be a dual SIM device, will be running on Android Jelly Bean v4.2.2. It sports a 3.5-inch display rendering 320x480 pixels resolution with a 1 GHz processor speed.
The Celkon A9 Dual, in terms of in-device camera, sports a 2-megapixel primary rear shooter that assisted by a front-facing VGA camera. The device has a 1350mAh battery with 512 MB ROM, 256 MB of internal RAM, and an external expandable memory card slot that can be further expanded up to 32GB.
As we mentioned before, there's no mention of the device's price anywhere on the official site. However, that also should arrive in a few days time since the original device has already been listed. So keep a check on Gizbot to find out how much Celkon eventually decides to charge for the device.
