Celkon to Launch Flagship Millennia Epic with 5.5 inch Display on November 19

Over the past few months, Celkon has been busy launching a number of budget smartphones for Indian users. Although this gave the brand a temporary edge over its arch rivals, Celkon still needs to impress if it's to match or lead those rivals when it comes to premium range.

It's sure been a long time since Celkon shipped a premium smartphone in India. The good news is that Celkon is indeed planning to reveal its new flagship smartphone in India on November 19. The official press invite reads," Celkon cordially invites you to unveil Millennia Epic." It came on a black background, with a picture of the device.

The launch date had been widely reported, although until yesterday the company was not ready to shed light on its forthcoming flagship device.

The detailed invite doesn't mention much about the device itself, but our sources tell us that the device will feature a 5.5-inch screen and a powerful quad-core processor (unknown chipset) under the hood. Of course, the smartphone will run Android 4.4 Kitkat out-of-the box.

According to several of our trusted sources, the Millennia Epic will be projected as a flagship Android smartphone. At the same time, we also got to know that the handset would be priced above Rs. 10,000. However, beyond these leaked details, there's nothing known about the handset.
