Celkon is gearing up to be one of the prime competitors in the market in recent times, ahead of the likes of Micromax and Karbonn. And to keep its ambitions up, the company has today launched the brand new Celkon Campus A35K budget smartphone with Android KitKat on top of it.
The new Celkon Campus A35K is set to be the first of its kind in being the lowest priced device among all other entry level smartphones currently available in the market. And with a price tag as low as Rs. 2,999, the device now stands as a prime competitor against the likes of the instantly popular Motorola Moto E.
Mr. Y. Pradeep, Head-Digital Management, Celkon Mobiles said: "A35K is Celkon's most economic and stylish smartphone in its category. With these features and price point, A35K is surely the best and would create a sensation in the market. Currently entry level segment for smartphones has 35% market share in India according to IDC."
"We aim to be a category leader in this segment by providing unique and advanced level features to this segment users. We will be coming up with 25 new smartphones most of the variants equipping with quad core processors, 1GB RAM and 16GB internal memory in next 30 days," he added.
The new Celkon A35K comes with a colorful and bright 8.89cm (3.5-inch) HVGA display, a 3.2-megapixel rear camera with flash and is backed by a super-fast 1GHz processor with a 1400 mAH battery for longer talk time.
In addition to that, there's support for 3G video calling with a front facing camera taking care of that. Also, the phone has 512MB in-built storage, 256 MB or RAM, expandable memory upto 32GB, dual SIM, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth facilities.
