Celkon XION S CT6595: 6.95-Inch Phablet Launched in India At Rs 7,499
Latest report shows that "phablet" sales have just doubled over the past year. Due to consumer acceptance, phablets have gained considerable momentum in popularity. Hence, most of smartphone manufacturers are coming up with low-end phablets, especially in countries like India and China.
Celkon is today introducing the XION S CT6595, the company's latest phablet. This is the biggest phone that Celkon has released yet, adopting a 6.95-inch display - bigger than the Apple iPhone 6 Plus.

Celkon's XION S CT6595 comes with a huge 6.95-inch screen that will be apt for reading and watching full length movies. The phone is powered by a 1.2 GHz dual-core processor and runs on Android 4.4.2 (KitKat). The device also offers 1GB RAM, 8GB internal storage and expandable memory up to 32GBvia a microSD card slot.
In the camera department, there's a 5MP rear-facing camera, alongside a front-facing shooter. The makers have added a large 2,500mAh battery fitted inside.
Other connectivity options include: 3G/2G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS, among others. It also comes with dual-SIM support.
With the XION S CT6595, Celkon is pushing the limits of large smartphone and small tablet. The XION S CT6595 is going to be sold for Rs. 7,499, making it a budget friendly handset.
