Nokia N8 might have an younger brother by next year with the name of Nokia 801. The official date is not revealed by the company yet, but it is expected to be rolled out by the beginning of 2012. More information on the specialties as well as features and specification of the gadget are not available. But as we know that since it is the sequel of Nokia N8; surprises are obvious. As some snap shots of the gadget are available, we can understand that Nokia N801 will feature an edge to edge display. The screen will also be enhanced with the touch facility incorporating all the latest touch technologies. There is no information available on the screen size, but since we remember that the earlier one had a display of 3.5 inches. We can expect something similar or bigger this time.
To leverage the performance and provide a better platform for the users, the company has incorporated the gadget with Symbian Belle operating system. This will help the user to have far above the ground experience. According to experts, there are speculations that the gadget will come up with a more customized home screen and resizeable widgets. Moreover options for multitasking are obvious along with some of the most recent applications to leverage various requirements of the users. There are also expectations on NFC technology enabled devices.
As far as the physical appearance, connectivity facilities and the camera along with battery backup are concerned, we could expect them to be somewhat similar to Nokia N8. The camera facility in Nokia N8 was really amazing which could produce pictures and images with higher clarity and resolution.
Well, the most disappointing part here is that, at this point in time there is no much information available and we have to wait for some more months to get a clear picture on what the gadget might come up with. The pricing strategy that Nokia is going to follow for Nokia N801 is still not known.
However, it is obvious that Nokia N801 will make many users happy as it is expected to come with some of the features in the earlier version as well as the newest applications and touch technologies. So, let us wait for the superb Symbian belle wrapped handset to come out of the hood.
