Apple started the trend in manufacturing sleek and compact devices, now China has picked up this trend and crafted it amazingly in its smartphones. Earlier we have seen the World's slimmest smartphone from Oppo ( Oppo R5) at 4.85mm thickness. But, it didn't standout in the crowd for very long as it is being quickly overpowered by Vivo X5 Max, having 4.75 mm thickness. Now Ivvi smartphone from Coolpad wants to steal the spotlight and get dubbed as "Slimmest smartphone in the World".
Coolpad is a popular brand in China, which launched sub-brand of Ivvi smartphones last year, it seems that Coolpad is adamant to set its mark in the smartphone segment. A new teaser from Coolpad showed the Ivvi smartphone, which is just 4.75 thin, hence making it the thinnest smartphone in the world beating the Vivo X5 Max.
Ivvi seems to throw a tough competition in the thinnest smartphone segment of China. Obviously all the slimmest smartphones are from China but it's not clear whether the dimensions of the phone will have so much of an effect on the public.. As far as now, this new smartphone from Coolpad has made its mark very clear and specific in the slimmest smartphone segment.
The phone will flaunt a 4.7 inch screen (same like its dimensions) and is completely made out of plastic where as the Vivo X5 Max is made of metal. As from the teaser we can observe it's thickness and a camera with single LED flash on the rear side. In addition to that, there's a speaker grill on the bottom of the back panel back. Other specifications are not yet revealed.
