China-based smartphone maker CoolPad has collaborated with the Indian e-retailer Snapdeal to launch "Dazen" brand of devices in India in the month of May. Known for its affordability, the smartphone from this company comes in a range of Rs. 5,000 to Rs. 20,000.
Commenting on the partnership Varun Sharma, said, "The Indian smartphone consumer today is consistently pushing the envelope on value proposition. With Coolpad Dazen, we want to lead the next wave of disruption in the Indian smartphone market, with high quality devices, game-changing specs and innovation designed specially for our Indian customers. Moreover, the company has announced that it will acquire the patent for frameless smartphones within this year. Recently, Coolpad has launched Tiptop Pro smartphone in the Chinese market.
This Coolpad Tiptop Pro comes packed with 5.5-inch bezel-less full-HD display, a 64-bit Octa-Core Snapdragon 615 CPU, 2GB RAM, 8GB of internal storage, 13MP rear camera, 5MP front camera, 4G LTE connectivity, Android 4.4.4 KitKat with Coolpad's UI on top.
