The crowded Indian handset market is open to new age handset makers, and Hyderabad based handset maker Celkon expects to cash in on this wave by launching more affordable device in days to come.
Last week GizBot had exclusively reported that Celkon will launch Millennium Ultra Q500 in India on August 24. Other than the Ultra Q500, looks like, the company is planning to launch another low cost Android 4.4 running phone by next month.
Recently, Pradeep Yerraguntla, Company Head in Digital Management posted a tweet hinting on the company's upcoming smartphone range - as seen below.

After having a look at the tweet, GizBot was sure that the company is cooking something big secretly. Hence, we contacted our sources and found out that Celkon is working on a new smartphone codenamed ‘Project Little Boy.'
GizBot also got hold of a series of leaked images of the upcoming Project Little Boy. Below you can see some exclusive shots of the handset in blue color variant.
We have also got to know from our sources that the upcoming handset will tout a 3.5-inch display and Android KitKat OS and might get launched under Campus series. Celkon is primarily known for its affordable range, and this soon-to-be released phone won't be much different.
Also we have come to know that the upcoming phone will come fitted with a 1GHz processor coupled with 256MB of RAM and 512MB of ROM. In addition, the forthcoming budget phone will also sport a 3.2-megapixel rear-facing camera and a front-facing shooter.
As of now, we are still on-looking to find out the model name and price of the handset, but we have got to know from our sources that Celkon is planning to launch the 'Project Little Boy' somewhere around September 23rd and the handset will be released in the market around 25th of the same month.
