Exclusive: HTC Desire 816 Coming to India in May 2014, Desire 310 Official Price is Rs 11,700
Looks like HTC has finally managed to create a device that could win Indian consumers' mind, soul and even over pockets. HTC unveiled the Desire 816 at this year's Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2014.
The handset has been received well in China, all thanks to its affordable retail price ($310 which is Rs 18,000 approx.) Moreover, if reports are to be believed, then the HTC Desire 816 pre-orders numbers has now touched more than 1 million.
At HTC One (M8) launch, held in New Delhi on Tuesday, a high-profile senior executive has apparently informed GizBot that the Desire 816 will hit Indian market by May 2014. However, the retail price of HTC Desire 816 Dual SIM has not been disclosed so far. We expect the device to be priced somewhere around Rs. 24,499 in India.

HTC Desire 816 - Highlighted Specifications
HTC Desire 816 is a mid-range handset made specifically for Asian markets. It features a large 5.5-inch 720p HD display, quad-core 1.6GHz Snapdragon 400 processor, 1.5GB of RAM, Dual-SIM, 13MP front-facing camera with a single LED Flash, 5MP front-facing camera, Android 4.4.2 Kitkat, Sense 5.5, 3G, Wi-Fi, GPS and more.
At the same time, last week speculation stirred about HTC's Desire 310 Dual SIM to land in Indian retail shelves anytime from now.
In fact, GizBot first carried out a report stating that the first batch of Desire 310 Dual SIM phones were already shipped into Indian territory on March 22, 2014.
Well, now we've got exclusive information for all HTC fans out there. Yes indeed the HTC Desire 310 Dual SIM is now available at Rs. 11,358 through The Mobile Store.
Meanwhile, Manu Seth, Marketing Head, HTC India revealed in an interview with GizBot, that Desire 310 Dual SIM will be officially announced at a price of Rs. 11,700. However, it will be available at a lesser price out in the market.
At Rs. 11,358, the HTC Desire 310 Dual SIM will give direct competition to none other than the Motorola Moto G, which is current retailing at Rs. 12, 499 ( 8GB variant).

Talking about its specs, the HTC Desire 310 Dual SIM features a 4.5-inch FWVGA (854 x 480 pixels) display, 1.3 GHz quad-core MediaTek processor, 512MB of RAM , 4GB of internal memory, a microSD card slot, 5-megapixel rear-facing camera, VGA quality front-facing shooter, Android 4.2 Jelly Bean, 2,000mAh battery , Dual-SIM, 3G, Wi-Fi, A-GPS, Bluetooth and more.
