Exclusive: Karbonn to Launch Four Big Ticket Android Smartphones By March 2014
There is no denying the fact that Indian tech vendors are giving tough challenge to their International counterparts. For instance, Karbonn, the third largest smartphone maker in country has left no stone unturned to maintain its dominance in the native market.
Buoyed by the success of its flagship device, the Titanium X, Karbonn has planned to reveal not one, but four big-ticket handsets for Indian market.
Earlier today, GizBot managed to get some juicy details in respect to Karbonn's road map for 2014. As per the information received from our trusted company source, Karbonn is prepping to launch its first smartphone powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor.
Yes! Karbonn's forthcoming smartphone is slated to go official by March-end 2014. We have been informed that the handset will be released under "Titanium" series, and is currently under development stage.

Specwise, the upcoming smartphone is said to be Karbonn's first phone to have a 2.5GHz quad-core processor powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 SoC, backed by 2GB of RAM, 16GB of internal memory, which can be expandable up to 32GB via a microSD card slot. Further, the device will sport a 5-inch Full HD display. On the camera front, it will incorporate a 13-megapixel rear-facing camera with dual LED Flash. And of course it will be an Android smartphone.
Further, the company source also informed that Karbonn will release two true Octa-core powered smartphones in India before March 2014. Both devices would feature MediaTek's latest octa-core chipset. Karbonn is seriously considering launching a 5-inch Full HD display ducked octa-core chipset running smartphone by end of February or early March 2014. Again, in the same month, a 5.5-inch FHD smartphone with an octa-core chipset , will also be made available in Indian market.
Analyzing the market competition, Karbonn is not alone working on an 8-core ready phone. Another big player in the handset market, Micromax, has already introduced its first ever Octa-Core phone in Russia, the Canvas Knight A350. The company will certainly announce the Canvas Knight A350 in India in the coming days to come.
Moreover, yet another phone, is waiting to get green signal for market release from the house of Karbonn. Yes! You heard it right! The source, who is close to the matter has also revealed that Karbonn is planning to launch a smartphone powered by a hexa-core processor.
