Exclusive: LG G2 Gets Listed Online, Coming to India in October Without Wireless Charging Facility

LG is all set to announce G2 in the first week of October, claims a senior executive over at LG India. GizBot had earlier reported that LG would announce its most bold Android powered smartphone in India around September last week. Now, we have got a new update in respect to LG G2 launch. One of the senior officials at the company has informed us that, " LG will launch G2 in the last week of September or first week of October 2013."

 

Moreover, inside sources also informed that LG G2 India launch event will take place in October. The official launch of LG G2 on September 30 has been confirmed by listing of the device on online shopping website Saholic, the handset has got listed on the e-commerce site under 'Coming Soon' tag.

 

At this point of time, there is no information on the pricing and retail availability of LG G2 in India, but the senior official at LG has revealed that LG G2 India variant won't have wireless charging facility. GizBot expects LG G2 to be priced above Rs. 43,000, when it comes to retail market later this month.

The LG G2 packs a 5.2-inch Full HD IPS Super LCD2 display having resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels at 443 ppi. It is powered by a 2.26GHz quad-core processor powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 chipset coupled with 2GB of RAM and 16GB/32GB of internal memory. Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean comes out of the box.

There's a 13-mega pixel rear facing camera at the back with advance imaging optics including Optical image stabilization (OIS) feature with Auto Focus and LED Flashlight. Also add a 2.1-mega pixel front facing camera.The phone measures 8.9mm thick in terms of thickness. Other connectivity options include: 4G LTE-Advanced connectivity, IR Blaster, a 3000mAh Li Ion battery, Wi-Fi, 3G, Bluetooth, NFC, a miniUSB 2.0, and more.

The Sony Xperia Z1 comes with a 5-inch Full HD display powered by Sony's Triluminos technology and X-Reality engine. The handset has a 2.2-GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor quad core processor coupled with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of ROM (expandable up to 64GB via a microSD card).

The makers have added a 3000mAh Li Ion battery. Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean comes out of the box. The camera is utterly powerful with a 20.7MP camera shooter at the back. The device comes with number of connectivity options including 4G LTE, 3G, Wi-Fi, DLNA, NFC, and more. Sony could announce the device in India later this month.
