Recently, the South Korean giant LG launched it's much hyped flagship phone G2, an answer to forthcoming heavyweights Apple iPhone 5S and Galaxy Note 3. The device was unveiled on August 7 in a New York event and since then, GizBot was anxiously waiting for LG India to announce its plans in respect to G2 India launch.

LG's last big launch was Optimus G Pro, a 5.5-inch Full HD smartphone. Now LG India is set to announce G2 sometime in the middle of September. Yes! the information was shared with us by Steve Koh, Head - Mobile Communication at LG India.
In an exclusive conversation with GizBot, Koh revealed that "LG G2 will be available in India around mid-September." The high profile executive skipped the answer, when specifically asked about the retail price of the premium handset. He just said "it's too early to reveal the price."
Talking about specifications, LG G2 is the most advanced smartphone launched by the South Korean manufacturer so far. The handset flaunts a 5.2-inch Full HD IPS Super LCD2 display having resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels at 443 ppi. The processor inside comes with a 2.26GHz quad-core processor powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 chipset coupled with 2GB of RAM and 16GB/32GB of internal memory.
Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean comes out of the box. There's a 13-mega pixel rear facing camera sensor covered with scratch less material for protection. Also add a 2.1-mega pixel front facing camera. The main highlight of the rear camera is the coming of Optical image stabilization (OIS) feature with Auto Focus and LED Flashlight.
Moreover, LG G2 is ultra-slim at 8.99 mm thick. The device supports 4G LTE-Advanced connectivity and UX features including IR Blaster. Further, the makers have added a 3000mAh Li Ion battery.
