Manufactured by Lenovo, not Motorola
According to the rumours, the Moto M will be manufactured by Lenovo instead of Motorola. Moreover, it is rumoured to be exclusive to Asia. This could explain the subtle changes in the design language in the leaked images.
Likely to feature a metal unibody design
Rear fingerprint scanner
According to the leaks, the upcoming phablet will feature a fingerprint scanner at the back, something which we haven't seen on any of the Moto devices yet.
MediaTek chipset onboard
Motorola has never used a MediaTek chipset in its phones until the recently launched Moto E3 Power. It appears that this trend is here to stay, the phablet could likely be powered by the MediaTek MT6755 octa-core processor clocked at 2.1GHz.
4GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage
The smartphone is expected to pack 4GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage space. There have been rumours that the phablet will come in two variants so, expect another phone to come with 3GB of RAM.
16 MP camera for the shutterbugs
The 16 MP camera on the Moto G Plus (4th Gen) surprised us with its ability to capture great images. We can expect a similar camera on this unannounced Motorola phone. In terms of numbers, it is likely to sport a 16 MP rear camera and an 8 MP selfie camera.
