Apple always surprises its fans with something new ever year with its iPhone. The company seems to have big plans for the next year's iPhone design, according to the new report from KGI analyst Ming-Chi Kuo.
Apple is said to release iPhone with curved panels on the front and back, with metal on the sides. According to the analyst, the next iPhone will come with a 5.8-inch display with AMOLED panel and will feature a design similar to iPhone 4 or iPhone 4s but will have a curved panel on front and black. It is also expected that the phone will come with wireless charging and a new biometric recognition technology like face recognition or iris scanner.
The analysis also points out that Apple's 2017 iPhone lineup will depend on the availability of the AMOLED displays. If there are enough supplies, Apple would launch a 4.7-inch LCD based-iPhone, which will make the new 5.8-inch AMOLED model as a larger option.
