Apple Releases iOS 10.2 with SOS Button, TV App, New Emojis and More: Here's How to Get it
Apple brings iOS 10.2 update with an array of features such as SOS button, 100s of new emojis, and more.
Apple finally the released iOS 10.2 update along with Indian specific SOS option for the iPhone 5 and later devices. The new update is said to fix all the software bugs, technical glitches, and improve device performance.
The new iOS 10.2 software update brings about a vast range of improvements for the iPhone, iPad and iPod touch users including a host of new emojis, several new effects in iMessage, a brand new TV app, and improvements in the camera set-up.

The key feature that the iOS 10.2 rolls out for the users is the SOS or Panic button option, which has been made mandatory for all devices starting next year. The SOS option can be used during an emergency just by going to Settings>General and users can customize the SOS option as per their personal requirements. Using the SOS button will automatically make a phone call to the 112 help-line number. This option is useful in case of an emergency.
The new iOS 10.2 update can be downloaded by heading over to the Settings option of the phone and users can simply update the software by clicking on the Software Update option. Well, before updating the iPhone with iOS 10.2, ensure to backup your data and connect the device to Wi-Fi in order to save mobile data.
With the iOS 10.2 update, users will receive 100s of new Unicode 9.0 emojis reflecting various professions, sports, and more. Along with the diverse characters and expressive emojis, there will also be a new TV app, which will enable users to watch live streaming, TV series, and more.

Along with these newly updated features, iMessage gets "Send With Love" and "Celebration" effects, iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus receives brand new wallpapers, and the camera receives a new "Preserve Setting" option that will let the user save the last mode rather than changing it every time from default.
