The Zenfone 3 is an upcoming flagship smartphone by Asus that is due to be launched in 2016. The rumored Zenfone 3 is the sequel to 2015's Asus Zenfone 2, which was the first smartphone to equip with 4GB of RAM.

We may still be several months away from the unveiling of the third-generation Zenfone smartphone from Asus. But we have already seen many leaks related to the handset. Recently, a variant of Zenfone have been spotted at GFXBench listing and has leaked specifications of the handsets.

Jonney Shih, Chairman of Asus, reveal that the company intends to release seven Zenfones by August 2016. Meanwhile, according to sources, the Zenfone 3 is expected to be released sometime in May or June 2016.

Two Asus ZenFone 3 models with model number Z010DD and Z012D have been listed on the GFXBench listing.

According to the GFX Bench listing, the Asus Z010DD features a 5.9 inch HD display. On the other hand, the Asus Z012D sports a 5.5 inch full-HD display. The resolution of the display is unknown.

The Asus Z010DD is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 octa-core processor clubbed with 3GB of RAM and has 32GB of internal storage. While, the Asus Z012D is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 650 hexa-core processor with 3GB of RAM and has 32GB of internal storage.
