ChampOne C1 Looks Like a Gimmick: First Flash Sale Gets Delayed
For the past few days, ChampOne C1 was creating headlines for its super affordable price tag of Rs. 501. The device was supposed to enter its first flash sale today via its official website.
However, as it was expected, the ChampOne C1 failed to make its way up to the sale. The website shows a message "We appreciate your interest and faith with ChampOne India, due to some technical glitches the Flash Sale is postponed till further notification. We will be Back Soon."

As per the previous information from ChampOne, the smartphone comes with impressive features such as a fingerprint scanner, and 4G LTE support. The actual price of the phone is Rs. 7,999 and it is priced at Rs. 501 only for the registered customers who buy it on September 2, stated the company.

However, we've had our doubts on the first flash sale to have happened today like many others did. Here's what we know about ChampOne C1 till now.
Registrations were not open
While ChampOne said that the customers who pre-register to buy the device on September 2 were alone eliglble to buy it at just Rs. 501, the registrations were closed. It stated that the registrations will be open in 24 hours, but there are no signs of it since 4 days.
When will they be back?
Though ChampOne has come up with a message that the smartphone's flash sale has been delayed and they will be back soon, there is no clear word on when the flash sale will exactly happen. This makes the company's decision vague.
What's the whole idea?
While the company didn't accept any payment online and stated it will have only cash on delivery mode, why did it delay the flash sale and block the registrations? Also, what was the whole idea behind introducing the ChampOne C1? These questions remain unanswered.
Tablet and Watch missing from website
The website of ChampOne had earlier listed two upcoming devices - a tablet and a watch and the specifications of these were also listed. Now, the website doesn't have any pages expect for the message stating a delay in the flash sale.
