Xiaomi Mi Note 2 Dual Curved Edge Screen Leaks: This is How the Phone Might Look Like [PICS]
Rumors are rife that Xiaomi is working on two new smartphones - Redmi 4 and Mi Note 2. While there are speculations that the Redmi 4 might be unveiled on August 25, it is likely that the Mi Note 2 might be unveiled on September 5.
Lately, there have been quite a few leaks revealing a lot of details about the Xiaomi Mi Note successor and a recent leak shows that the device will arrive with a dual-curved glass panel just like the screen on the Samsung Galaxy S7 edge.

As per the leaked glass panel, there seems to be space for a physical home button at the front that is expected to double as a fingerprint scanner as well. The glass panel of the alleged Mi Note 2 was leaked on Weibo initially.

Two variants of Mi Note 2 might be in plans
As per recent reports, the Xiaomi Mi Note 2 might follow the fashion that Samsung followed wirth the S7 and S7 edge. It is likely to launch two variants of the Mi Note 2 - one with a flat screen and the other with a dual-curved display.
Premium build with fingerprint scanner expected
The Mi Note 2 is likely to sport an AMOLED display that is made by Samsung and flaunt a premium metallic build and a fingerprint scanner as well on board.
To sport Snapdragon 821 SoC
The Xiaomi smartphone could come with the latest chipset from Qualcomm, the Snapdragon 821 SoC that is claimed to be ten percent faster than the existing one - Snapdragon 820.
Two storage capacities expected
It is likely that the Mi Note 2 might arrive with 6 GB RAM and two storage options - 64 GB and 128 GB respectively.
Pricing has also leaked
As per the leaked pricing details, the Mi Note 2 is likely to be priced at CNY 2,499 (approx. Rs 25,000) for the 64 GB model and CNY 2,799 (approx. Rs 28,000) for the 128 GB model.
