On the Galaxy Note 7, you can set the screen resolution all by yourself. Well, you can use it at QHD 1440p or scale it down to HD 720p as per the requirement. This is nothing but the condensed screen mode that came along with the Galaxy S7 and S7 edge. The recent leak shows that there is a resolution slider in the display settings that will help you scale down from Quad HD 1440p to FHD 1080p and even HD 720p. This way, you can save the battery whenever you don't want QHD resolution.
