As the official unveiling of the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 is around the corner, we are getting to hear a lot of rumors about the device. The latest one that we have come across are the new features that the S Pen will get.
Going by a recent report that came out over the weekend, the Galaxy Note 7 will feature three new features including Translate, Magnify, and Glance.
Take a look at the new features that the S Pen will bring to the Galaxy Note 7 and their uses from the slider below.
The Galaxy Note 7 users are expected to have the ability to translate words from any foreign language by just hovering the S Pen over the specific word. This way, they will save the time needed to open a dedicated translate app to know the exact meaning of the word. It is possible to hear the exact pronunciation on tapping the icon.
This is also a new feature that the S Pen will get. It will magnify or zoom a specific area of the screen as you simply hover the S Pen over it.
The new Glance feature will give you the ability to switch between the apps by just hovering the S Pen over a floating app thumbnail making it easy for you to multi-task.
The Air Command feature on the Galaxy Note 7 seems to be similar to the same that we saw on the Galaxy Note 4 and Note 5.
Ability to Write Underwater
The Galaxy Note 7 seems to arrive with IP rating that will make it water resistant. So, we can expect the S Pen to come with the ability to write on the device's screen even underwater. Though we are not sure if this is true, it will be a great feature.
When it comes to specs, the Galaxy Note 7 is rumored to arrive with a 5.7-inch Quad HD Super AMOLED 1440p curved dual edge display and include an Octa-Core Exynos 8893 or Snapdragon 821 processor paired with 4 GB or 6 GB of RAM. It is said to feature expandable storage option as well.
The Galaxy Note 7 is believed to include a 12 MP main snapper, a 5 MP secondary one, Android 6.0 Marshmallow and a employ 3,600 mAh battery.
