If used correctly, the split-screen mode in the Android Nougat has the potential to get things done effortlessly and can come in very handy at times. For instance, you can watch a video on YouTube while texting your friend on WhatsApp. This is just a simple example, the possibilities are endless and it totally depends on how you plan to use it.

Speaking of which, using the multi-window or split-screen mode is a simple affair. Yet, a few users who have received the Android Nougat update seem to find it difficult to use the feature. So, here's a step-by-step guide which will help you master the split-screen mode.

Firstly, in order to use the multi-window mode on your smartphone, you'll have to launch at least two apps.

After launching multiple apps hit the recently launched apps button on your smartphone's screen, now tap and hold on the app you want to use in split-screen mode.

The above step will enable the split-screen mode on your smartphone, now all you've to do is drag another app you want to use in tandem with the first app you selected.
