Huawei has managed to gain the ranking of third-largest smartphone maker in the world this year. The China-based smartphone maker has release a number of compelling devices this year, including the Nexus 6P running the latest Android 6.0 Marshmallow.

The Huawei Mate 8 has been frequently rumored in the last few months. Information claims that the Mate 7 successor will be a powerful device, better than the Google Nexus 6P and the iPhone 6s Plus with features like Force Touch sensitivity display measuring 6 inch at Quad HD resolution an much more.

Huawei is all set to excite the smartphone world once again, with the launch of Mate 8, the successor of last year's Mate 7. The company has unveiled the Mate 8 last month, and has not disclosed the pricing of the handset, but will go on sale in China. The global variant will be unveiled at CES 2016.

Well, according to a new report, Huawei smartphone chief, He Gang, has confirmed that the Mate 8 will be launched on December 9. However, there is no word on availability of the global variant.
