Infocus Epic 1: 5 Things to know about Company’s First Deca-core Smartphone launching today
Infocus Epic is powered by a 10-core CPU and is up for registration on Amazon India at a price of Rs. 12,999.
American smartphone maker Infocus is all set to launch company's first Deca-core smartphone -Epic 1 in the Indian market. The new smartphone is priced at 12,999 and will be sold exclusively via Amazon India.
You can register for the smartphone on e-commerce platform today, however the company will start selling the handset by tomorrow- October 25.

Powered by a Deca-Core CPU
The smartphone's USP is its underlying 10-core CPU. The handset is powered by a Mediatek's Deca-Core Helio X20 SoC, which is accompanied by Mali T720 MP2 GPU and 3GB of RAM.
Metal Body with Fingerprint Sensor
Infocus Epic 1 is made out of metal and integrates a fingerprint sensor at the back panel. The smartphone has a USB Type-C port and has 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS as connectivity options.
5.5-inch Full HD Display and 32GB internal storage
Infocus Epic 1 sports a 5.5-inch full-HD (1080x1920 pixels) On-Cell display. The details about smartphone carrying any protection layer is not yet confirmed.
Epic 1 has a 32GB internal memory, which can be expanded by up to 128GB via microSD card slot.

16MP Rear Camera with Object Tracking
Another highlight of smartphone is its 16MP PDAF rear camera, which is equipped with Optical Image Stablization (OIS) and also has object tracking technology.
The front of the smartphone has an 8MP camera with f/1.8 aperture.
Software and Battery
The InFocus Epic 1 smartphone runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow with company's InLife 2 UI skin on top.
The smartphone is powered by a 3,000mAh battery unit.
