ZTE's Axon line of smartphone created waves in the smartphone space in US when it launched a year back. In fact it was the ZTE Axon Mini introduced towards the fag end of 2016 was one of the first smartphones to come with a 3D Touch display.
Now the successor of the flagship ZTE Axon Pro has emerged in Antutu Benchmark. Incidentally the smartphone has secured a whopping score of 140,000 which is the highest so far in the benchmark. Presently the benchmark table is led by Xiaomi Mi5. The alleged ZTE smartphone was also spotted in GFXBench earlier this month.
So how does this smartphone from ZTE attain such a high score in the leading smartphone benchmark app? Well, let find out below.
Just like the ZTE Axon 2016 aka the Axon Elite, the all-new smartphone features a 5.5 inch IPS display with a resolution of 2160x1440p resolution. It is expected that the panel quality on the smartphone will be as good as it's predecessor.
ZTE Axon 2017 is the one of those handful smartphones which are powered by the latest chip from Qualcomm. Just like the Xiaomi Mi5 launch earlier this year the flagship smartphone from ZTE makes use of the Snapdragon 820 SoC clubbed with Adreno 510 GPU.
The ZTE Axon Pro successor sports 4GB of RAM on the inside. This is complimented by 64GB of internal storage. Besides that the smartphone comes with a slot for memory expansion thanks to a Hybrid SIM card slot.
The ZTE Axon 2017 can shoot 4K videos at 30fps thanks to the 20MP rear camera. Just to recall the ZTE Axon Pro sports a dual rear camera setup on the rear - 13MP and 2MP. Besides that the successor to the Axon Pro is also tipped to sport 8MP selfie camera on the front.
As per the GFXBench listing, ZTE Axon 2017 runs on Android Marshmallow 6.0.1 with the company's own UI on top. Just like any device running on Android Marshmallow the ZTE Axon Pro too is said to come with multiple features unique to the ROM including Doze etc.
