The launch of the Redmi Pro flagship doesn't put a halt to the rumors and speculations regarding the Chinese manufacturer Xiaomi.

Last week, rumors related to the Xiaomi Mi Note 2 started hitting the web suggesting that the device might arrive with dual curved edges as the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 and dual camera setup. Even the front panel of the smartphone surfaced online tipping the presence of the dual curved edge screen.

Now, a fresh and hot batch of renders of the Xiaomi Mi Note 2 has been spotted online. These renders show the phone in full glory. Well, you can see the sloped rear cover, curved display and metal-glass exterior giving it a striking resemblance to the Note 7.

Take a sneak peak at the dual camera lens

A couple of the renders that were leaked online show that the Xiaomi Mi Note 2 features dual camera setup at its back. This adds some authenticity to the previous rumors that originated from China.

There could be a QHD display

The rumors tip at the presence of a QHD 2560 x 1440 pixel 5.7-inch display. The Mi Note 2 is also rumored to use an AMOLED panel that is made by Samsung and seen on the high-end devices from the South Korean tech tycoon.

Mi Note 2 to be a hardware prowess

Going by the rumors and speculations, the Xiaomi smartphone might employ the Snapdragon 821 SoC. This new processor from Qualcomm is likely to be ten percent faster than the Snapdragon 820 used in the existing high-end smartphones. Eventually, the Mi Note 2 will be a hardware prowess.

To have ample RAM and storage space

There are rumors that the Mi Note 2 might feature 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of default memory capacity. This points out that the smartphone will never run out of storage and it will not fall short in terms of performance as well.

The design is definitely tempting

The Mi Note 2's design seems to be very enticing as it might come with a dual-curved edge screen, a nice and rounded rear panel, and premium metallic build with glass as in the Mi 5. Also, there is a fingerprint scanner on board the phone to keep it highly secure.

While Samsung has discarded the flat screen variant of the Galaxy Note 7, there are rumors that Xiaomi might arrive in two variants - one with a flat screen and the other with a curved edge on both sides.

As per leaked a benchmark listing, the Mi Note 2 might arrive with 6 GB of RAM and 64 GB or 128 GB of storage capacity. It might make use of a Snapdragon 821 SoC and employ a 3,600 mAh battery with support for fast charging feature from Qualcomm.
