It appears as if Lenovo is on a launching spree. The Chinese tech giant, just last week, had launched the K6 Power smartphone in India and now the company is launching another phone named Lenovo Zuk Edge tomorrow (in China).
The smartphone, in the recent past, had been leaked several times along with the live images. Now, a fresh render of the smartphone popped up online giving us major insights about the design along with the pricing and other information.
Let's take a look at the leaked specs one by one.
Fresh renders of the smartphone reveal a thin bezel display with a low screen-to-body-ratio. Earlier leaks have suggested a curved design display like the Galaxy S7 Edge. However, the latest render doesn't reveal anything as such.
Most of the front is occupied by the 5.5-inch Full HD display with a rectangular-ish home button (which may double as a fingerprint scanner) sits below it. Power button and volume rocker are placed towards the right side and a gold trim runs along all the edges of the device.
As per the earlier rumours, the device will be powered by a quad-core 2.35GHz Snapdragon 821 chipset along with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage space. An Adreno 530 GPU will take care of graphics.
The smartphone will be backed by a 3,000mAh battery and support for Quick Charge technology is expected given it features a Qualcomm chipset.
Android 6.0 Marshmallow
According to the rumours, the smartphone will run Android 6.0 Marshmallow out-of-the-box with ZUI running atop.
13MP primary camera with support for 4K video recording
The imaging department is rumoured to be taken care of by a 13MP primary camera which will be capable of 4K video recording. For the selfie lovers, there will be an 8MP front facing camera.
May be priced around Rs. 27,000
According to the fresh leak, the smartphone may be priced around CNY 2699 which roughly translates to Rs. 26, 747.
As far as the availability is concerned, given the company's history, the Zuk Edge should be launched in India in a few weeks.
