Putting an end to all the speculations, the South-Korean tech giant LG has officially announced the V20 smartphone at the high-end segment at an event in San Francisco. In fact, this is the first smartphone to come shipped with Android 7.0 Nougat based on LG UX 5.0+.
This smartphone will come in Titan, Silver, Pink color variant and will go on sale initially at the Korean market. However, there is no official word on pricing and global release yet!
The LG V20 sports two display -- primary and secondary display just like V10. The LG V20 sports a 5.7-inch Quad HD IPS Quantum display with a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels translating to a 513ppi . Further, the device also has 2.1-inch IPS Quantum display with a resolution of 160 x 1040 pixels. This secondary display is used mostly for the notifications, clock display and much more!

Falling in line with the previous report, the LG V20 is powered by a Quad-Core Snapdragon 820 processor with Adreno 530 as GPU. This high-end chipset from Qualcomm has improved graphic card and efficient processing. With this chipset, the battery can be charged 4x faster than conventional charging.
Can withstand fall up to 1.2 meters!
Talking about the storage, the LG V20 is equipped with 4GB LPDDR4 RAM, 64GB inbuilt memory. Moreover, users can also expand till 2TB via MicroSD card slot as well.
First device to ship with Android 7.0 Nougat!
As promised, LG has shipped V20 with Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box. This latest update from Google brings some coolest feature to the Android platform including--Multi-window view, Virtual Reality mode, Doze off mode, Notification Direct Reply and much more.
One of the best features of the LG V20 is the dual camera setup! As per the specs sheet, the LG V20 comes with 16MP rear camera, 8MP secondary camera, and 5MP front camera.
Talking about the rear camera, the 16MP camera comes with a standard angle with f/1.8 aperture and OIS, while the secondary 8MP camera has a much wider lens -- 135-degree with an aperture f/2.8. On the front, the 5MP camera comes with 120-degree wide-angle lens with f/1.9 aperture.
Further, the smartphone has Steady Record 2.0 feature as well, which is used to record more stable shots when we are the go! Steady Record 2.0 allows you to capture sharp, smooth video by minimizing the effects of unintentional hand shaking.
Also, it has Auto Shot mode for the front camera, which doesn't require button when taking selfies. For the front camera, the V20 has the same feature -- switching between a 5MP 120 degree "wide mode" and a 5MP 83 degree "normal mode."
Made for audiophiles!
Focusing on audiophiles, the company has upgraded some of the specs under the board. The LG V20 has Hi-Fi video recording capabilities, where it also uses a Low Cut Filter (LCF) that removes unnecessary background noise!
This aluminum-made smartphone has the feature to minimize the distortion and ambient noise up to 50%. The LG V20 also supports lossless music formats including FLAC, DSD, AIFF, and ALAC.
Charges in no time!
The inside hardware in LG V20 is powered by a 3,200mAh (removable) battery with Quick Charge 3.0 technology. As per the company, this technology is 38% more efficient than Quick Charge 2.0 technology.
The LG V20 supports connectivity options such as 4G LTE, dual-band WiFi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth 4.2 LE, GPS, NFC, USB Type-C on board.
