The Moto Z is flagship smartphone that comes with modular accessories called Moto Mods. The Moto Z unveiled at the Tech World 2016 conference held in San Francisco is the flagship successor to the yesteryear model Moto X.

Moto Z will be available in September with the Moto Mods accessories, but there is no word on the pricing. Now, let us take a look at the highlights of the Moto Z smartphone from here.
The Moto Z smartphone is made from aircraft-grade aluminum as well as stainless steel that makes the durable smartphone measure just 5.2 mm in thickness. It is also ultra light despite being spec-heavy.
The smartphone boasts a 5.5-inch Quad HD AMOLED 1440p display that is topped with Gorilla Glass protection. The display has a high pixel density of 535 ppi making it very impressive.
The Moto Z is powered by a 2.2 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 820 processor from Qualcomm and Adreno 530 GPU. There is 4 GB RAM to handle the multitasking requirements efficiently.
The device comes in two variants - 32 GB and 64 GB internal storage that can be expanded up to 2 TB. And, it runs on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow operating system.
The Moto Z features a 13 MP main snapper at its back that comes with dual-tone LED flash, laser autofocus, OIS, and f/.8 aperture. At the front, there is a 5 MP front-facer that has a wide-angle lens, LED flash and f/2,2 aperture for better low-light selfies.
As per Lenovo, the Moto Z features a water repellent nano-coating. This means, you can take the smartphone when you are walking in the rain too.
Moto Mods has the ability to transform the Moto Z into what you like it to be. There are 16 magical pins at the bottom back of the device and the Moto Mods modular accessories can be snapped on to that. The available Moto Mods include JBL SoundBoost, Moto Insta-Share Projector, Moto Shells, as well as instant Power Bank.
The Moto Z smartphone is highly secure with a fingerprint scanner that lets you unlock your smartphone with just a touch.
A 2,600 mAh battery pumps fuel into the Moto Z smartphone and this is backed by the Turbo charging feature as well. This feature can give the phone 8 hours of backup in just 15 minutes of charging.
Like the other flagship smartphones, the Moto Z has 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, NFC, USB Type-C port and front-facing loud speakers.
