Oppo has finally launched a new improved variant of their Selfie Focused smartphone in India. Dubbed the Oppo F1 Plus, the smartphone is similar to the one launched in China under the brand name Oppo R9.
Apparently cricket fanatics in the country would already be aware of the selfie centric smartphone from Oppo thanks to the multiple advertisement shown during the over break of the ICC T20 World Cup. Just like Oppo claims the main USP of this upper-midrange smartphone is selfie camera. In fact the front camera on this device has more megapixels than the rear. But this isn't all about the Oppo F1 Plus. In fact there's more to the tale!
If thought the HTC One A9 was anywhere near an iPhone 6S, then think twice as the Oppo F1 Plus looks more so. In fact the device is carved out of metal and houses the identical plastic antenna bands on the rear. The one area where is succeeds to create an identity of its own is in the rectangular shaped Fingerprint Sensor embedded Home button.
The Oppo F1 Plus houses a large 5.5 inch Full HD (1920x1080p) upfront. Apparently this is the same display that is expected to be incorporated in the upcoming Oppo Find 7. In fact this smartphone packs a larger display than that on the Oppo F1.
Just like any modern budget smartphone of present date, the Oppo F1 Plus is powered by a Mediatek Helio P10 SoC. This new chipset from the Chinese SoC maker makes use of 4 cores clocked at 2.0 GHz and 4 other clocked at 1.0GHz each. This is coupled with Mali T860 GPU.
Oppo F1 Plus comes with a 4GB RAM! While a few smartphone of present days have incorporated RAM as large as 6GB, the RAM inside the Oppo is adequate enough to handle your needs. This is clubbed with 64GB/32GB of internal storage. Besides there's room for memory expansion via MicroSD card slot.
