A few months back, Qualcomm announced the Snapdragon 821 chipset, which is slightly an overclocked version of the flagship Snapdragon 820 chip. The Asus Zenfone 3 Deluxe was the first smartphone to use the Snapdragon 821 followed by other ones such as the Google Pixel phones, Xiaomi Mi 5s, etc.
Now, rumors are already shrouding over the next generation chipset from the company. Dubbed as the Snapdragon 830 (for now), the chip has been spotted on Indian import-export site, Zauba and also revealed some details.

Can Support up to 16GB of RAM
It is widely rumored that the upcoming chip will support up to 16GB of RAM. However, the Zauba listing revealed that it is currently being tested with 4GB LPDDR4 RAM and 64GB of internal storage.
It Might be an Octa-Core Chip!
The Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 was a quad-core chip and its successor, the Snapdragon 821 also was a quad-core chip. The upcoming Snapdragon 830 is expected to feature eight cores.
Accompanied to the chip will be a powerful GPU. The Snapdragon 820 uses Adreno 530 GPU, which can handle some powerful intensive tasks. The Snapdragon 830 will use the Adreno 550 GPU, which will be as powerful as the Apple Motion M10 processor.
Might be Called as ‘Snapdragon 835’
Qualcomm, this time, around, planning to skip the Snapdragon 830 chip, instead name it as ‘Snapdragon 835'.
