7 Killer Features of Newly Launched Samsung Galaxy A9 Pro (#7 is Shocking!)

Samsung has eventually launched the Pro version of the Galaxy A9 smartphone in China. Apparently most of the specs of the alleged smartphone got leaked a lot earlier! Well, to put it straight the Samsung Galaxy A9 Pro is clone of the recently launched Galaxy S7 with pumped down internals.

The Korean electronics giants however has made a number of changes over the base variant of the smartphone which was launched late last year. The Samsung Galaxy A9 Pro comes in glass rear panel with metal to the side - a design similar to that of their S series of smartphones. The Dual SIM (Nano + Nano) smartphone come in three colours including White, Gold and the much hyped Rose Gold. Priced at 3499 Yuan (Rs 35,000 approx.) the device will soon go on sale in China. No words regarding the international roll out is available as of yet.

As reported before, the Samsung Galaxy A9 Pro comes with a 6 inch Full HD (1920x1080p) IPS display upfront. This is similar to the one present in the base variant of the Galaxy A9 (2016). Incidentally Samsung has reserved the Quad HD resolution for its flagship Note and S series devices.

Under the hood the Samsung Galaxy A9 Pro sports an octacore Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 chip. The all new chip from the leading chipset manufacture makes use of Cortex A72 cores to give it a decisive edge over its competitors. To aid the graphics performance the Snapdragon 652 makes uses of an Adreno 510 GPU.

Samsung has bumped up the RAM inside the Galaxy A9 Pro. It now sports 4GB RAM, similar to what seen in the recently launched flagship Samsung Galaxy S7. Just to recall the base variant of the Samsung Galaxy A9 (2016) comes with 3GB of LPDDR3 RAM.

Samsung Galaxy A9 Pro variant comes with 32GB of internal storage. Besides that both the smartphone come with a slot for memory expansion with support for MicroSD cards as high as 128GB.

Samsung has equipped the Galaxy A9 Pro with a 16MP rear module that made its debut in the year old flagship Galaxy S6. The 16MP rear camera module boasts a large aperture of f/1.9 and LED Flash. Besides that there is an 8MP camera on the front, which too comes with a large f/1.9 aperture snapper.

Just like the base variant, the Samsung Galaxy A9 Pro comes equipped with a Fingerprint Sensor on the front. It is apparently incorporated in the rectangular home button located at the bottom of the display. This Fingerprint Sensor will help users make payment via Samsung Pay.

The battery on the inside of the Galaxy A9 Pro has received a big boost from its base variant. It now features a 5000mAH battery which comes with support for Quick Charge. It is expected to last through two days of heavy to moderate usage.
