Samsung is at the receiving end for the all the bad stuff for nearly a month due to unexpected explosions of Galaxy Note 7. The South Korean giant quickly recalled the smartphone, however, that didn't help the company to deflect heavy loss.

Only One Edge Variant of the Smartphone
A survey conducted in the month of September revealed that the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge is getting more sales than the normal flat panel Galaxy S7. So, Samsung might ditch the flat panel variant of the smartphone and release two Galaxy S8 phones with the edge display.
Two Curved-Display Variants
As said earlier, Samsung is planning to ditch the flat panel display variant of the smartphone. So, we are expecting that the South Korean giant will only launch two edge display variants this year.

Might Feature a 4K Display
Samsung is secretly working on a new concept called 'Dream', in which the company will be heavily focusing on the display technology and virtual reality. One of the Galaxy S8 variant is expected to ship with a 4K display.
6GB of RAM
Samsung is planning to integrate 6GB of RAM in the Galaxy S8 series, which is slowly becoming the norm in smartphone industry.
