However, the same cannot be said for Reliance Jio's Lyf series smartphones that comes at a starting price of Rs. 2,999. In addition to good hardware and exciting offers, Reliance has also integrated Rich Communication Services (RCS) in the handset, which allows for more enhanced calling and messaging features over the sim card itself. The service offers support for group messaging, sending emoji and files, as well as file and location sharing. As per company, the calling features are also enhanced by RCS, allowing for video calls, screen-sharing and multimedia sharing during the call itself. Users can also append images, geo location, notes and specify the urgency of a call with the new Lyf F1.

Our Verdict

Seeing all the above benefits, competent hardware and of course the bundled Reliance Jio benefits, we can say that Lyf f1 is the first handset in the series that seems a decent buy.

The smartphone offers everything you would want from a sub Rs. 15,000 handset and offers the much wanted Reliance jio 4G benefits without any hassle of generating codes and getting the Reliance Jio 4G SIM.

We will reserve our final verdict till we get our hands on the smartphone, but for now Reliance Lyf F1 seems to be a good sub Rs. 15,000 smartphone.
