Sony is all gearing up to launch new smartphones under the newly created Xperia X series. With the IFA 2016 around the corner, plenty of leaks have already started mulling over the internet regarding the new smartphones.

Sony is expected to launch a high-end Xperia X smartphone with top-notch hardware under-the-hood. Also, the company isn't killing the trend of releasing Compact smartphones. It is widely expected that Sony might also launch Xperia X Compact at the event.

We have already seen several rumors over the internet regarding the specifications of the smartphone, however, today, the smartphone is spotted on GFXBench confirming all the specifications.

The compact doesn't mean the smartphone to have the low-end hardware. Sony is powering the Xperia X Compact with the flagship chipset Snapdragon 820 which is a quad-core CPU.

The chipset will be divided into two dual-cores Kryo chips, which are clocked at 2.1GHz and 1.6GHz.

The Sony Xperia X will feature a 16MP rear camera which has support for autofocus, PDAF, LED flash, and tap to focus. However, GFXBench shows that there is no Auto HDR mode, which is a bit of a letdown. The rear camera can also record videos of 4K quality.

There will be a front facing camera of 8MP which can record videos of 2592*1944 quality.
