There's something special about the camera of Huawei P9, P9 Plus!
After a series of speculations and rumours, the Chinese handset maker Huawei has finally announced its latest flagship model P9 and P9 Plus smartphones at an event in London.
The P9 and P9 Plus comes with a metal build body, single/hybrid dual SIM depending on the region, fingerprint sensor on the back.
Besides, the USP of the Huawei P9 series of smartphone is the 12MP dual camera set-up, which employs Leica SUMMARIT lenses & 1.25-micron pixels promising the users with amazing image quality in low light conditions. Talking about the forma factor, the P9 measures 6.95mm thickness, while the P9 Plus is 6.98mm thick.
The Huawei P9 will be available in Mystic Silver, Titanium Grey, Ceramic White, Prestige Gold, Rose Gold variant and Haze Gold variant. On the other hand, the P9 Plus will be available in Ceramic White, Rose Gold, Haze Gold, Quartz Grey colors.
On the pricing, the Huawei P9 carries a price tag of £449 (approx Rs. 42,100), and the Huawei P9 Plus comes at £549 (approx Rs. 51,500).
In terms of connectivity, both the device shares same options such as 4G LTE, Wi-Fi a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, NFC and USB Type-C.
Today, lets have a look at differences and similarities between the Huawei P9 Series of smartphones.
Differences #1
Huawei P9 sports a 5.2-inch FULL HD AMOLED display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels on board, while the beefed up variant of P9 flaunts a 5.5-inch FULL HD AMOLED Press touch display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels.
Further, both these devices comes with a technology called 'Press Touch', which is similar to Apple's 3D Touch. This touch senses the level of force exerted on a touchpad or similar display surface, and responds accordingly.

In terms of storage, the Huawei P9 comes in two variants - 3GB RAM with 32GB ROM/ 4GB RAM with 64GB ROM. The storage capacity can be expandable upto 128GB via microSD card slot. On the other side, the P9 Plus comes onlt with 4GB RAM and 64GB ROM, with expandable option up to 128GB via microSD card slot.

The hardware of Huawei P9 is powered by a 3000mAh battery with fast charging technology, while the Huawei P9 Plus is juiced with 3,400mAh battery on board.
Similarities
The Huawei P9 smartphone series is powered by Octa-Core Kirin 955 processor clocked at 2.5GHz with Mali T880-MP4 GPU under the board.

The latest flagship from the Chinese handset maker Huawei flaunts a 12MP dual camera set-up with Leica SUMMARIT lenses, dual-tone LED flash, Laser AF, f/2.2 aperture, 27mm focal length. It also comes with a 8-megapixel front-facing camera capable of auto-focus with a wide aperture of f/1.9.
As per the company, the dual camera setup lenses lets in more light, which 270% more than iPhone 6s, resulting in better low light performance. The camera app will also allows for full manual control while shooting, which means users will have full control over shutter speed, ISO, metering and white balance.
