With Android N official launch round the corner, smartphones OEMs from around the world are now pushing the Android Marshmallow update to a range of its devices. Android Marshmallow apparently brings a number of new features to the table including a granular permissions manager, doze among others. So here is a list of five smartphones that started receiving the Android Marshmallow update in India recently.

Lenovo owned subsidiary Motorola too started rolling out the Marshmallow update for a number of its devices in India. It's worth noting that Motorola has been testing out the update for its X series of devices ever since the beginning of this year. Incidentally the flagship Motorola X Force otherwise known as the Motorola Droid Turbo 2 received the Android 6.0 update towards the end of April.

Launched in early 2015, the Lenovo A7000 is oldest phone in the list. The budget smartphone by Lenovo fought out with the likes of Redmi 1S, Micromax Canvas Spark back in the day and was quite successful in India. The Lenovo A7000 received the Marshmallow update towards the end of last month.
