Vivo ropes in Ranveer Singh to launch Vivo V3, V3 Max Smartphones in India: 7 Special Features
Vivo has now launched two new smartphones in India namely the V3 and the V3 Max at an event in India. The two new phones comes just a few days before the commencement of the Indian Premier League which is apparently sponsored by the Chinese smartphone maker.

The Vivo V3 and the V3 Max has a keen similarity with that of the Redmi 3 and the Redmi Note 3 smartphone from Xiaomi. However it's worth noting that the smartphones that the USP of the smartphone is in its premium built quality and as expected it comes with markedly higher price tags too. So without further ado let's find out the cool features of the new Vivo V series smartphone.
Apart from the launch of these two new smartphones, Vivo announced Bollywood celebrity actor Mr. Ranveer Singh as their brand ambassador. This move was closely followed by the association of Indian badminton ace Saina Nehwal with Honor India.

The latest smartphones from Vivo comes with an all metal exteriors. Just like any other mid-range Vivo smartphone, the V3 and V3 Max are quite well built. Apart from that the smartphones are quite slim too. Incidentally it would be best to refer Vivo V3 and Vivo V3 Max are better built variant of the Redmis.

Both the Vivo V series smartphones are powered by the latest range of Qualcomm Snapdragon chips. In fact the Vivo V3 and Vivo V3 Max smartphones are powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 616 and Snapdragon 652 chips respectively. For those unaware these are the same chips that power the Xiaomi Redmi 3 and Redmi Note 3 smartphones.

The Vivo V3 and the Vivo V3 Max comes with 32GB of inbuilt memory. This is backed by the presence of a MicroSD expansion slot which can support cards as large as 128GB. Apart from that the Vivo V3 and V3 Max sport 3GB and 4GB of RAM respectively.

Despite the difference in the pricing and the internals both the Vivo smartphones come with a same set of cameras. Precisely speaking the Vivo V3 and Vivo V3 Max feature a 13MP rear camera with Phase Detection Autofocus (PDAF sensor) and LED Flash. There's also a 8MP selfie snapper on the front. In fact Vivo highlighted the prowess of this Selfie shooter by clicking selfies with the man - Mr. Ranveer Singh.

Just like any other mid-range smartphones of present date the Vivo V3 and V3 Max smartphones comes with a Fingerprint Sensor at the back, located just below the 13MP rear camera. It's worth noting that the Fingerprint Sensors come with 360 degree support which means that you can make the device identify your finger by placing it at any angle.

Vivo smartphones always come with their proprietary FunTouch OS and it's not different this time around. In fact both the Vivo V3 and Vivo V3 Max are powered by Android Lollipop 5.1 with FunTouch OS 2.5 on top. Expect Vivo to roll out Marshmallow update soon.

As with any Vivo smartphone, the V3 and the V3 Max are priced slightly on the higher side. In fact the USP of Vivo lies in the fact that one doesn't need to wait for flash sales to get their hands on these smartphones. Now coming to the pricing the Vivo V3 and Vivo V3 Max are priced at Rs 17,980 and Rs 23,980 respectively.
