This week was indeed a huge week for the Indian smartphone market with lots of mobile launches from low-end to high-end range. To start with, the South Korean handset maker LG has launched its first modular smartphone in India at a price of Rs. 52,990 exclusively on Flipkart.

In terms of specifications, the LG G5 has 16MP main camera capable of recording 4K videos along with an 8MP secondary camera with wide angle lens. Sony has launched its Xperia X smartphone in India at the sub 48k price tag. The company has come up with new "X" series of smartphones -- Xperia X, Xperia XA and Xperia XA Ultra with improved configuration in terms of design, camera and battery.

Besides, Micromax subsidiary Yu has launched a Yunicorn smartphone with mid-range specs including fingerprint sensor integrated into the home button. Further, it has Around YU 2.0, an upgraded version of its platform that lets you find everything you need with a single touch.
