While technical specifications of the cameras of the alleged device hasn't leaked as of yet, Xiaomi President Bin Lin has posted two images shot from the Mi5 on Weibo. This was closely followed by the leak of yet another sample image, and this time by Hugo Barra.

As per previous reports the Xiaomi Mi5 will pack 16MP rear camera which will probably make use of the Laser Autofocus technology. Apart from that the front may feature a 13MP selfie snapper. However, the sensor size of the front snapper appears like an 8MP unit.

Xiaomi Mi5 is tipped to sport a large 3600mAH battery which is expected to deliver an improved battery performance. This is markedly larger as compared to the 3080mah unit in the Mi4. The battery life will however depend on the Snapdragon 820 chip. In case it overheats like the SD810, it will take a toll on the battery life of the Mi5.
