Moreover, the company has taken a dig at Samsung's flagship smartphone, the Galaxy S6 Edge for featuring 3GB of RAM. Considering this, it is expected that the phone will come in 4GB RAM option and will offer 32GB of internal memory. Such a storage space combination is rare to be seen in mid-range space.

Quick charging capabilities:

OnePlus created ripples in the market with its OnePlus One smartphone, which was touted as the flagship killer phone. The company then launched the OnePlus 2 a few months back. However, none of these featured Quick Charging capabilities. Yutopia took a dig at OnePlus for lacking this feature, which could mean the Yutopia will have quick charging capabilities as well.

21MP rear camera:

Camera is an important and one of the most sought after feature by consumers in all phones. Yu's upcoming Yutopia has been rumored to feature a 21MP rear camera with LED flash, and an 8MP front-facing snapper to take care of selfies. We are looking forward to get our hands on the upcoming device to know more about its camera quality.

Fingerprint scanner:

Fingerprint scanner has kind of become of a ‘must-have' feature on a flagship smartphone offering. Many of the new specs-heavy smartphones including the Nexus 5X and 6P flaunt fingerprint recognition technology. YU too would want to ensure that it does not loose on this point and hence will most likely add a fingerprint scanner on the Yutopia.

Android Lollipop:

One of the highlights of the YU phones has been the Cyanogen OS layering on Android. The Yutopia will also run on Android 5.1 Lollipop-based Cyanogen OS 12.1.

Connectivity options:

While most of the premium flagship smartphones are placed on the upwards of Rs 30,000, it is expected that the Yutopia will be priced aggressively. Considering that YU's current range of smartphones have been placed under Rs 10,000, it will be interesting to see how the company will price the Yutopia so that it does not even conflicts with Micromax's range of mid-range smartphones including the recently launched new Canvas flagship.
