But the question is that will this phone become the next flagship killer.
Here we list down 10 expected features and specs of the forthcoming YU Yutopia smartphone that can make it the ultimate flagship phone:

It is believed that the Yu Yutopia will feature a 5.2-inch QHD display offering 1440X2560 pixels resolution, which has been seen on high end devices. To name a few, the 2K display has been seen on the top of the range Samsung phones including Galaxy Note 5, Galaxy S6, Galaxy S6 edge and Galaxy S6 edge+, LG G4, Google Nexus 6P, HTC's One M9+, Sony Xperia Z5 Premium, Motorola X Style and more.
Rumors have it that the Yutopia will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 octa-core chipset, which could the improved version of the chipset. This chipset has been used by many top-class smartphone companies to power their smartphones, some of which include Samsung, Sony, and LG.
YU has earlier trolled Apple's iPhone 6s base model for its 16GB non-expandable storage, and hinted that the Yutopia will feature higher internal storage with a microSD card slot to expand the memory. Moreover, the company has taken a dig at Samsung's flagship smartphone, the Galaxy S6 Edge for featuring 3GB of RAM. Considering this, it is expected that the phone will come in 4GB RAM option and will offer 32GB of internal memory. Such a storage space combination is rare to be seen in mid-range space.
Quick charging capabilities:
OnePlus created ripples in the market with its OnePlus One smartphone, which was touted as the flagship killer phone. The company then launched the OnePlus 2 a few months back. However, none of these featured Quick Charging capabilities. Yutopia took a dig at OnePlus for lacking this feature, which could mean the Yutopia will have quick charging capabilities as well.
21MP rear camera:
Camera is an important and one of the most sought after feature by consumers in all phones. Yu's upcoming Yutopia has been rumored to feature a 21MP rear camera with LED flash, and an 8MP front-facing snapper to take care of selfies. We are looking forward to get our hands on the upcoming device to know more about its camera quality.
Fingerprint scanner has kind of become of a ‘must-have' feature on a flagship smartphone offering. Many of the new specs-heavy smartphones including the Nexus 5X and 6P flaunt fingerprint recognition technology. YU too would want to ensure that it does not loose on this point and hence will most likely add a fingerprint scanner on the Yutopia.
One of the highlights of the YU phones has been the Cyanogen OS layering on Android. The Yutopia will also run on Android 5.1 Lollipop-based Cyanogen OS 12.1.
In terms of connectivity, the Yutopia is expected to be a dual-SIM phone with 4G LTE support, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 4.1 and GPS.
While most of the premium flagship smartphones are placed on the upwards of Rs 30,000, it is expected that the Yutopia will be priced aggressively. Considering that YU's current range of smartphones have been placed under Rs 10,000, it will be interesting to see how the company will price the Yutopia so that it does not even conflicts with Micromax's range of mid-range smartphones including the recently launched new Canvas flagship.
