As promised, the Chinese handset maker Xiaomi has launched its phablet range in India at an event in New Delhi. Dubbed as Mi Max, this device comes with the 6.44-inch display and huge 4850mAh battery.
Ignoring the 5.5-inch trend in the market, Xiaomi has entered into the 6.4-inch arena with Mi Max. This 6.4-inch is more than normal for most of us! Talking about the design, this hulked up device looks similar to Mi Note and if you thought of using this device in one hand, then, please forget it!
However, the Mi Max will fit for those who prefer watch videos or films, reading newspapers or document on their device.
The fingerprint sensor has been placed on the back side of the device just like Redmi Note 3. Anyhow, it is pretty disappointing to see standard USB cable in this device after implementing USB Type-C on Xiaomi Mi5.

The Mi Max flaunts a 16MP rear camera with dual-tone LED Flash and PDAF. On the front side, it is backed with 5MP front-facing camera with 85-degree wide-angle lens and f/2.0 aperture.
The Xiaomi Mi Max is shipped with Android 6.0 Marshmallow on top of MIUI 8 out of the box.
Talking about the connectivity, the Mi Max supports options like 4G LTE with VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac (2.4 / 5GHz) MIMO, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS + GLONASS.
