Xiaomi Redmi 3s India Launch Will Happen on August 3: Check Out 6 Best Features
Last week, there was a report that the Xiaomi Redmi 3s smartphone will be launched in India soon. Now, it is confirmed that Xiaomi will launch the smartphone in the country on Wednesday.
The Chinese company has now sent out the invites that confirm that the device will be unveiled on August 3, Wednesday at 12 PM IST. The pricing and availability of the Redmi 3s will be revealed at the launch event. Notably, Xiaomi will also live stream the event that is to take place tomorrow.

The Redmi 3s smartphone was announced back in June and it is already available in the company's homeland China in two variants based on the storage and RAM capacities. Take a look at the features of the Xiaomi Redmi 3s features to know what the company might bring to its fans tomorrow.

Xiaomi Redmi 3s – Design
The Redmi 3s is an affordable variant of the Redmi 3 that exists in India and it still features a full-metal magnesium alloy unibody design. Also, there is a round fingerprint scanner at the back of the smartphone. Overall, the Redmi 3s looks decent enough.
Xiaomi Redmi 3s – Display
The smartphone is fitted with a 5-inch display that features HD 720p resolution as its sibling. This is a standard aspect that we can see in the affordable handsets.
Xiaomi Redmi 3s – Hardware
There is an octa-core Snapdragon 430 processor operating under the hood of the Redmi 3s that seems to better for an affordable device. It comes in two variants - one with 2 GB RAM and 16 GB storage and the other with 3 GB RAM and 32 GB storage capacity. There is a hybrid SIM card slot that can be used as a micro SD card slot too.
Xiaomi Redmi 3s – Camera
The Xiaomi Redmi 3s comes with a 13 MP rear camera with LED flash, HDR, FHD video recording, f/2.0 aperture, and PDAF and a 5 MP front-facer for clicking selfies and this sensor also supports FHD video recording.
Xiaomi Redmi 3s – Connectivity
As usual, this smartphone too comes with a slew of connectivity aspects including 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and GPS.
Xiaomi Redmi 3s – Battery
The Redmi 3s draws power from a 4,100 mAh battery that can give it a decent backup under moderate usage.
